Chambers Heart is separated into four chambers which are called as left chamber, left ventricle, right chamber and right ventricle. Chamber are the upper offices of the heart while ventricles are the lower offices of the heart. Every one of these chambers are isolated by a tissue layer, called as septum. Left half of the chamber is related with the dissemination of the oxygenated blood and the correct side gets the deoxygenated blood from different pieces of the body. Valves There are four valves in the heart to be specific bicuspid valve, tricuspid valve, aspiratory valve and aortic valve. Bicuspid valve is available between the left chamber and left ventricle while tricuspid valve is available between the correct chamber and right ventricle. Pneumonic valve acts as a door which stops the reverse of blood from right ventricle to the aspiratory course which takes the deoxygenated blood to the lungs for sanitization. Finally the aortic valve, this valve assumes a significant job in halting the reverse of the blood from left ventricle to the aorta. When the blood is moved to the aorta it supplies the oxygenated blood to various pieces of the body. Veins Blood vessels are the blood transporters in a human body. ASEAN Journal of Psychiatry, Vol. 16 (1): January à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ June 2015: XX XX.Keywords:Organizational Citizenship Behaviour, Emotional Intelligence,Islamic Work EthicsIntroductionEmotional Intelligence (EI) is recognized as an effective and efficient tool to prolong oneà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s existence and tenure in an organization because it helps oneself in building social relations and respect amongst the employees in a particular organization [1]. The prolongation of tenure increases employeesà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ commitment towards the organization and therefore, they want to do something extra for their workplace in order to express their attachment. The attachment is often expressed by exhibiting Organizational CitizenshipBehaviour (OCB) that is defined as a set of voluntary actions that employees perform for their organization [2]. Nevertheless, in collective culture, employees are famous for serving the organizations for longer periods [3] and because of this reason, it is inferred that there is viable link between the constructs of EI and OCB in a featured cultural setting [4]. However, the Muslims ideally take their work as an integral part of the lives and therefore, they tend to perform their duties in the light of religious values [5]. The main contribution of this study is stemm ing from considering the role of IWE as a moderatingThe Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence (EI) And Organizational Citizenshp Behaviour (OCB): The Moderating Role Of Islamic Work Ethics (IWE)ASEAN Journal of Psychiatry, Vol. 16 (1), January - June 2015: XX-XXvariable for the well-established relationship between EI and OCB [6].The EI is believed to be the ability of a person that allows him or her to identify his or her own emotional state and along with this, it allows him or her to effectively judge othersà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ cardinal state as well. However, the people with higher level of EI are known to use the emotional state of others to their advantage or to meet certain goals, and their ability to develop long-term communal relationships is considered important. Additionally, the people who are emotionally intelligent have been known to have the ability to work towards organizational and personal goals with vigour. The most difficult phase of practicing EI is to delay the or iginal emotional responses to the situation and manifest an entirely different and socially acceptable reaction [7]. OCB is defined as a set of voluntary activities that an employee or a group of employees is performing in order to better the organizational work climate. These activities are not part of the formal duties of the participants and neither are they considered during the process of employeeà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s evaluation [8]. OCB is often fostered in staff when they receive good level of institutional responsiveness from administration and have sufficient opportunities to achieve their career goals while working with a certain organization [9]. The dimensions of OCB are believed to be supportive attitude, ethical responsibility, and self-initiation. The OCB literature suggests that the construct is the result of an individualà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s dedication towards an organization [10] and therefore, he or she works towards betterment of organizational work climate. Moreover, the employe es involved in OCB are rather responding to supervisorà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s good behaviour or attached to the image of organization to an extent where they consider working for the betterment of the company as their ethical duty. Attachment theory describes that workers have a profound tendency of sharing their problems and issues with people who possess significant and notable level of ability to care for others [11].The middle and operational managers are primarily and informally responsible for resolving issues in the workplace [12]. The Social Exchange Theory helps in identificationof peers as the best solvers of workforce related issues as their exposure and knowledge about work conditions is better than both middle and top managerial levels. Based on the above argument, it can be established that OCB is more abundantly customary amongst horizontal levels of the organization due to strong social relations amongst peers. Socially active people are anticipated a great deal to render help for their colleagues in difficult times. The associative behaviours are neither recognized nor rewarded by the institutions in a major number of cases in the corporate sector of Pakistan and therefore, the strength of social relations can render great help in terms of applying the notion of OCB as it involves helping colleagues against no apparent benefit [13].IWE is a construct that is developed in order to incorporate religious ethical values in oneà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s professional life. Islam promotes professional engagement so that an individual can become an active and supportive participant of the society. Islamic cultures work significantly towards building a society and community, and the societal relationships are established with the help of corporation and collaboration. In modern perspective, an organization is a social construct and therefore, it can thrive based on building synergetic relationships. However, Islamic philosophy is of the view that helping others in positive pro fessional endeavors is nobility and it will be rewarded in the afterlife [14]. Islamic Ethics in general, promote selfless service to the society and as organizations can be taken as communities of a smaller scale, OCB can be used as a means of applying Islamic values in the workplace, and there is a sustainable statistical link between the featured constructs [15] as well. The construct of OCB cannot be applied without strong social and communal relations with the organizationà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s employees because the construct gives substantial amount of value to OCB practitionerà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s ability to solve problems and help troubled colleagues and none of these activities can be performed in absence of social relations [16]. Thus, there is a logical and scientific need to study the moderation effect of IWE on previously established link between EI and OCB. The moderation influence should be empirically tested becauseThe Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence (EI) And Organizational Citizenshp Behaviour (OCB): The Moderating Role Of Islamic Work Ethics (IWE)ASEAN Journal of Psychiatry, Vol. 16 (1), January - June 2015: XX-XXMuslim workers have profound psychological need to practically apply religious practices in their professional lives [14] and therefore, it is yet to be seen that the abovementioned need is compelling them to serve their organizations without receiving compensation in exchange or not. This research would help organizational managers to understand the role of IWE in strengthening OCB among the Muslim workers who constitute major and notable percentage of the entire global workforce. This study intended to investigate the relationship between Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) with moderating role of Islamic Work Ethics (IWE).MethodsSampling technique and populationThis study has used the technique of convenient sampling in order to draw a sample from the target population that consist the students of pri vate universities in Islamabad. The researcher was a student of a privately owned university and because of this reason; it was cost effective for him to conduct a survey in above-mentioned type of educational institution. The sample was finally drawn from a private university located in the city where 150 questionnaires were distributed among the students of the institution whereas, 123 completely filled instruments were collected(123/150 = 82%). The participation of the respondents was voluntary and ethical approval was duly obtained from administration of the educational institution from where sample was drawn.Instruments, score interpretation and Cronbachà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s AlphasThree instruments were employed and all of them were measured on a five point Likert scale. Alienation, A Theme in John Steinbeck´s The Grapes of Wrath

Grapes of Wrath: Alienation In Grapes of Wrath, John Steinbeck reveals the assumptions and moral values of Californian society in the 1930s by narrating the tale through the eyes of Tom Joad. Tom and his family are evicted from their homes by the bank because the drought had diminished the profitability of the land. They join numerous other migrants on Route 66, hoping for a better life in California. Both the rich Californian landowners and the Californian workers alienate the migrant families, showing a blatant disregard for human life in pursuit of preserving their own self-interests. Migrant families were subject to being alienated and called names. The first time Tom hears the term Okie he asks someone what it means, and he learns that, Okie use ta mean you was from Oklahoma. Now it means youre a dirty son-of-a-bitch. Okie means youre scum (Page chapter 18). This quote shows the hatred Californians had for the migrant families who were looking for a new start. Okie became a derogatory term used by Californians who feared that the people migrating from the Midwest would take their jobs. Californians alienated and dehumanized migrants by labeling them. The implication that a migrant is a â€Å"dirty son-of-a-bitch† further serves to dehumanize migrants by relating them to filthy street dogs. The word scum is also demeaning, and by comparing migrants to dirt Steinbeck shows that Californians thought that the migrants were worthless. E-Book vs Paper Book free essay sample

First of all, I think technology will eventually replace the book but not completely. I think there will always be regular bookstores. Too many people will continue to want a real book they can hold and then, if they like it, put it on the shelf. Theres something about the look of shelves full of books, not to mention browsing through them in the stores. However, e-books offer multiple advantages; they are easily readable, easily portable due to it size and shape, the use of controls with the e-book also seems to be very beneficial. When turning pages with a touch of a button is easy. Shrinking or enlarging print and moving to any part of the book with a click helps in many cases. Taking Note is much more powerful. Its also provide a touch-sensitive screen, and the advantages to this are being able to annotate text, highlight important passages, and scribble in the margins. I download almost all my school textbook cheapest price plus a bunch of free classical books. Furthermore, e-book will overtake paper book is that the technology hold a great promise for distance learning, and its allow users in remote areas to access catalogs and material. I personally feel that the distance learning feature is nice because information can be obtained from not only one place but also even at the horn of African villages. Another most important beneficially about e-books is that they are environmentally friendly. You dont have to kill a few trees for each book, and lets not even talk about the ink. Certainly, e-books could save a lot of carbon dioxide when it comes to replacing textbooks, given that textbooks tend to last only a couple of years before being replaced by new editions. When you consider other factors such as the water consumed during book publishing, the picture becomes more clear. I learned in my chemistry class that it takes about seven gallons of water to produce the average printed book. Digital books, on the other hand, are electronically published on less than two cups of water. Are e-books perfect? No. There are still problems with energy consumption, raw materials used to make the e-book reading devices, but I believe that as technology improves, the ‘footprint’ that e-books leave on the environment will become smaller and smaller. For example, switch to solar power to recharge the reading device’s such as batteries will help save energy and reduce carbon dioxide. As an overall perspective I feel paper books, though convenient in some aspects as discussed, are probably more of a hassle to people who can’t afford textbooks. Money can also be saved with e-book. We know that in order to make our books, we chop down vast amounts of trees. Therefore, e-book provides us enormous advantages to enhance our environment. So yes I think it will replace the paper book. Technology will always move forward no matter what gets in its way. Its too bad though. I prefer the paper books way better and I cant imagine reading a whole book on a screen.

How to Make a Paper Unique

How to Make a Paper UniqueCollege students writing papers are often asked to make their assignments unique. They are told that a better grade is received if they work hard and write well. There is no one answer to the question of how to make a paper unique. The solution depends on the kind of paper you are working on, but here are some tips to help you get started. The first step to creating a unique paper is to understand that it is not about how to make a paper unique. It is about the topic. It is also about your ability to create a paper that will be distinctive. You have to figure out what your topic is, and be able to define it, well. That is how you create an original paper. Now you can use the concept of your topic to come up with a sub-topic to build the backbone of your paper. Using this approach, you can actually end up making the most of your paper, by presenting the background and the situation in a way that will make it stand out. You should be able to use every element of your paper to either strengthen the point you are trying to make, or to take away some points that may not be necessary.Let us use a rather typical situation as an example for how to make a unique paper. Let us say that you are working on a paper on flower arrangement. There are three factors you can incorporate into your presentation: colors, flowers, and plants. There are a variety of options available when choosing colors for the leaves and stems, whether you want to use silk, cotton, linen, cotton gauze, and other types of fabric. Then you can choose to go into the different possibilities of flowers, from the traditional, like dahlias, orchids, roses, irises, gerberas, and other favorites, and then consider how different the colors will look. Thereare so many possibilities, it will take a while to decide which ones are best, and which ones you can't live without. It is always nice to have some variety, and so it is up to you to come up with the right combination to go along with your main colors. You will have to think about how these will blend with the main colors, and then you can decide how much emphasis you want to put on the floral arrangement itself. You will be amazed at what you can do with a little creativity, and that will help your paper is unique. You will also want to look at all the factors that may be going into making a floral arrangement unique. The weather, humidity, and sunlight will all be factors that will be included in the arrangement. The final step is to come up with a unique approach, and you can do this by allowing yourself the liberty to let your imagination run wild. With this approach, you can really bring to life the theme that you have chosen and create something that will be truly unique. When it comes to creating a unique paper, there are no limits. In fact, you just need to know where to start, and it will all come together.
